Our 5 Favourite Pieces from the Winter Sale
A Funny Old Time of Year
If you’re anything like us, the post-Christmas lull is the perfect time to take stock of your wardrobe - and pick up something you’ll actually enjoy wearing now. Our winter sale still has some gems, and we’ve chosen five favourites that have stood the test of time. From cosy layering pieces to flattering denim you’ll wear into spring, these are the pieces we truly love.
I can always justify treating myself to sale bits too, as I feel everyone else has already had their shot at them 😊. And I’ve definitely got my eye on a few pieces this season.
DATE trainers 👟 are such a good all-year rounder.
I’ve got a couple of pairs of the Masai trousers already - they’re just so easy to wear. The shape’s really flattering, and I know I’ll get loads of wear from them again come summer.
Talking of sizes, it’s been a slightly odd one this season. We’ve definitely been selling more of the smaller sizes. I’m not sure why - maybe it’s the jabs? 😬
That said, we do still have a couple of Mama B trousers left in XL, which might be coming to a wardrobe near me very soon 😆.
I love the Sahara bubble trousers in that warm ginger colour. I’ve also taken one of the Sahara roll necks - so useful in my post-meno state. Easy to layer up to keep warm, then layer down again when you need to cool off.
With all that in mind, here are the five sale pieces we’d still happily buy and keep wearing.
1. DATE Trainers
A proper wardrobe workhorse. DATE trainers are one of those rare pieces that work all year round - with dresses, trousers, skirts and everything in between.
They’re comfortable, well-made, and easy to wear day after day. If you’re after a sale piece that won’t feel dated in a few months time, these are a very safe bet.
2. Masai Polyxena Denim Trousers
A year-round favourite, these soft denim trousers by Masai offer a flattering, easy silhouette that’s as versatile as it is comfortable. With a gently tapered leg and relaxed waist, they’re the kind of everyday piece that feels effortlessly pulled together.
“The Masai jeans are great because they’re an easy, flattering shape - and they’ll work just as well in summer with linen or tees.” – Lyn
Now reduced in the Winter Sale, they’re a smart addition to your wardrobe whether you’re dressing for now or looking ahead to spring.
3. Sahara Cord Bubble Trousers in Tan
A seasonal favourite reimagined in a rich ginger tone, these Bubble Trousers by Sahara bring shape, softness, and a hint of drama to everyday dressing. Cut from beautifully soft pinwale cord, they feature a curved, cocoon-like silhouette that tapers at the ankle - relaxed, flattering, and effortlessly modern.
Designed with an elasticated waist and practical side pockets, they’re as comfortable as they are stylish. The cropped leg makes them perfect for showing off boots or trainers, while the soft cord texture adds warmth and depth to winter outfits.
“I love these ginger Sahara Bubble Trousers - the look is great with so many colours,” says Lyn.
A versatile piece you’ll style on repeat.
4. Cash Ca Knitwear (Yak & Merino)
If warmth and comfort are high on your list, Cash Ca knitwear in yak and merino is hard to beat.
They’re beautifully soft, cosy without being bulky, and perfect for layering through the colder months. These have been real winter staples for me and are still very much in rotation.

5. Sahara Roll Neck Top
One of those pieces you don’t realise how useful it is until you’ve worn it a few times.
The Sahara roll neck is brilliant for layering — easy to wear under knits, jackets or dresses, and just as useful on its own. Particularly good if, like me, you’re navigating the joys of fluctuating temperatures and want something adaptable.
Final Thoughts
Sale shopping doesn’t have to mean compromise. Sometimes it’s simply about picking up pieces that have already proved their worth - clothes you’ll genuinely keep wearing.
These are five pieces we’d happily recommend because they’ve earned their place in our wardrobes, not just because they’re reduced.
